Yael Shraga

I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles and my Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) from California State University, Northridge. 

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) working with individuals, couples, and familys with a wide range of challenges including depression, anxiety, grief, end of life care, phase of life issues, and childhood/ adolescent issues. 

In my work I use a customized approach with each client. It is my mission and hope to aid in my clients overall increased life satisfaction. To look at the entirety of each individual; how their family of origin, cultural background, sexual orientation, history of trauma and/or abuse and emotional, physical and spiritual life relate to their current issues. To work holistically to come up with a treatment plan with my clients that will assist in their treatment and recovery. 

I am trained in Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Attachment-based Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy and Brief Therapy.
