MIRIAM ADAMO, MA, AMFT
Miriam Adamo, MA, AMFT (#118870), earned her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family therapy from Pacific Oaks School in Pasadena, California. Her Bachelor’s degree is in Criminal Justice Administration with an emphasis on human services. Miriam has completed a certificate program for mediation and facilitation as well.
Miriam has done much volunteer work in her community as a facilitator and mediator for dialogues between community and law enforcement and community and city government. Miriam speaks Italian and Spanish. She brings with her much experience in working with survivors of domestic violence and their families as she worked for nearly 25 years with the Los Angeles Office of the City Attorney helping victims navigate through the at times difficult justice system. Miriam has experience working with LGBTQ+ communities mostly within an in-house rehabilitation facility as well as a bi-weekly music therapy group.
Miriam uses Psychodynamic therapy, Humanistic therapy and Biblically based principles when focusing on faith-based counseling and aiding those who have been victims of spiritual abuse.
